Hi Mounjaro Fam, I’ve been paying out of pocket for Mounjaro because my old insurance (BCBS of CA) would always reject my PA. My company recently switched to United Healthcare (RX group lists as UnitedRX/OptumRX). My new insurance doesn’t list Mounjaro as needing a PA. Instead it says it requires step therapy.The best way to find out is to check the formulary for your specific plan. Thanks. I’m very aware of that.
